Interior Design

In the living room, the two big exhibit cabinets artistically greet the arrival of guests while satisfying the storage requirement in the meantime.

The grand living room, with the great view to outdoor scenery, displays a grandiloquent style. The grey painting of world map on the huge mirror wall explains the client’s broad global vision. The delicate L-style sofa fits perfectly to the layout of the living room. The lower marble wall, furnished behind the sofa, elegantly creates a reading space in the same area, which highlights the delicate design idea for the residence. The walls and table decorated with the fine marbles demonstrate noble characteristic in the living room, where the polished tiles put a final touch to intensify the majestic atmosphere. To distinguish the reading area from the living room, the designer specifically adorns the space with woods. Meanwhile, the display cabinets decorated with the black ironworks and logs signify the simple lifestyle.

Connected directly to the foyer, the dining room with cooking facilities saves more time for preparing foods. For the public area connecting with the kitchen, dining room, living room, and reading area in the same space facilitates a closer family relationship. By the concept of "connecting" space and family members, the visual art invented by the furniture and decorative fixtures proves the unique aesthetics background for the designer as well.

This project is 138 square meters and was completed in June 2016 in Taichung City, Taiwan. The design was awarded Iron in A' Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design Award in 2018. The Iron A' Design Award is given to well-designed, practical, and innovative creations that meet professional and industrial requirements. Respected for integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, they provide fulfillment and positive feelings, contributing to a better world.
